Notification preferences
Choose exactly which emails and push notifications you receive.

Where to find them
Go to **Settings → Notifications**. The page is organized as 5 groups, each covering one topic, with email and push toggles side by side. Changes save instantly — no submit button.
The 5 groups
- **Bookings** — booking confirmations, status changes, reminders, reschedule notices.
- **Chat** — new messages from lawyers, clients, or delegates.
- **Firm** — membership events (invites, approvals) and delegation activity on your account.
- **Payments** — receipts, failed charges, refunds, and accountant events.
- **Marketing** — product updates, weekly digests, and non-critical announcements (off by default on push).
Email vs push
**Email** works everywhere and is always available. It's best for receipts and anything you might want to refer back to.
**Push** delivers instantly to your browser or mobile. You'll only see push toggles enabled once you've granted permission (your browser will prompt you the first time you try to subscribe).
If you previously denied push permission, you'll need to re-enable it in your browser settings before the toggles become active.
In-app sounds
There's also a toggle for sound effects on the same page. Sounds play on new chat messages and booking status changes while you have a LeyApp tab open. This is a device preference — it doesn't sync across browsers.
One-click unsubscribe
Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link in the footer. Clicking it turns off emails in that category immediately — no login required. You can always re-enable them later from this page.
