Invoicing on LeyApp
Each party issues its own invoices. You invoice the client for your consultation fee from your own invoice series, and LeyApp invoices its platform service fee directly to the person who paid (the client, or their sponsor). LeyApp does not issue invoices on your behalf.
LeyApp's service-fee invoice is emailed automatically to the payer as a PDF when payment is captured, and can be re-downloaded from the booking page at any time.
LeyApp follows the Spanish electronic-invoicing framework and is aligned with Verifactu-ready workflows. Your data stays in the EU (Paris region).
What this means for you
You issue your consultation invoice to the client with your own numbering, exactly as you would for any client outside the platform. Your earnings page shows the per-booking breakdown (your fee, IVA, and LeyApp's commission) so your figures always match what the client paid.
What LeyApp's service-fee invoice includes
- Sequential invoice number in LeyApp's own series, following Agencia Tributaria rules.
- LeyApp's legal name and CIF as the issuer.
- The payer's name (the client, or the sponsor/designated payer who actually paid).
- IVA breakdown on the platform commission at the current Spanish rate.
Keeping your NIF up to date
Update your NIF/CIF and billing address any time in Settings → Account → Tax information. Clients need these details on the consultation invoice you issue to them.
If you change your registered bar association, update it in Settings → Lawyer profile so clients always have your current professional details.
Accessing your invoices
Dashboard → Invoices lists every service-fee invoice and credit note LeyApp has issued to you. You can download individual PDFs or export a CSV for your accountant.
Invoice contents
- Unique invoice number and issue date.
- Issuer details: LeyApp's legal name, CIF, and registered address.
- The payer's billing details (name, and NIF if provided).
- Service description, base amount, IVA, and total.
- Reference to the booking the service fee relates to.
If a booking is refunded, LeyApp automatically issues a rectificative credit note (factura rectificativa) for its service-fee invoice and emails it to the payer. You remain responsible for rectifying your own consultation invoice.
Declaring the income
You declare your consultation income on your quarterly Modelo 303 (IVA) and annual Modelo 390 like any other professional fee. LeyApp provides the totals and per-booking breakdown in the Earnings export.
