Scheduled maintenance: what to expect
How LeyApp announces planned maintenance, what happens while the site is briefly offline, and what it means for your bookings and payments.

Why we schedule maintenance
From time to time we take LeyApp offline for a short, planned maintenance window — for example to upgrade our database or roll out infrastructure changes that cannot be done safely while the site is running. These windows are rare, kept as short as possible, and scheduled during the hours when the fewest people use the platform.
Because every window is announced well in advance and placed in low-traffic hours, most users never notice one at all. This article explains how we announce maintenance, what to expect while it is running, and how it affects bookings and payments.
How we announce maintenance
- About 7 days before — You receive an email and an in-app notification with the exact date, start and end times (always shown in Madrid time), and what the maintenance is for.
- 24 hours before — A reminder arrives by email and in-app notification.
- 60 minutes before — A countdown banner appears at the top of the site so nobody is caught by surprise mid-task.
- When the window ends — You receive a completion notice confirming the platform is back and everything is working normally.
During a maintenance window the entire site is offline — including this Help Center. That is exactly why everything you need to know (times, duration, what to expect) is sent to you by email and in-app notification before the window starts. Keep the announcement email handy: it is your reference while the site is down.
What happens during a window
While maintenance is running, visiting LeyApp shows a maintenance page instead of the normal site. The page tells you when we expect to be back, in Madrid time. Work often finishes earlier than announced — the site returns the moment maintenance is complete, not at the end of the scheduled window.
You do not need to do anything. Your account, bookings, messages, and documents are safe and untouched — maintenance never deletes or modifies your data. Once the announced end time passes, simply reload the page.
Your bookings and payments
Maintenance windows are designed so that no payment can ever be interrupted halfway:
- New payments pause 15 minutes before the window — If you try to pay for a booking in the final minutes before maintenance, you will see a friendly message asking you to try again after the window instead of risking an interrupted payment.
- Payments already in progress always complete — If you started a payment before the pause, it finishes normally. We never switch the site off in the middle of a transaction.
- Consultations are never scheduled during maintenance — Booking slots that overlap a window are not offered, so no consultation of yours will ever collide with planned downtime.
- Payment confirmations keep flowing — Our payment provider's confirmations continue to be received during the window, so any completed payment is properly recorded even while the site is offline.
Our standing maintenance window
Whenever possible, we schedule maintenance on Sunday between 02:00 and 06:00 (Madrid time) — the quietest hours on the platform. If a window ever has to happen outside that slot, the same announcement schedule applies and we say so explicitly in the notice.
Full-downtime maintenance is announced at least 7 days in advance. Shorter, minor windows may be announced closer to the date, but always ahead of time and always by email and in-app notification.
Getting help if the site is down
If the site is unavailable and you did not receive a maintenance announcement, or the window has run past its announced end time, email us at soporte@leyapp.es. The support inbox stays up during every maintenance window and the team monitors it while work is in progress.
If something looks wrong after maintenance ends — a page will not load, or you appear signed out — reload the page and sign in again. If the problem persists, contact soporte@leyapp.es and mention the maintenance window in your message.
