What this walkthrough covers
- 1
Turn on Firm accounts
Firm accounts are a feature preview. If this card already says Enabled, just click Next. Otherwise click Enable and accept the firm beta terms once — the My Firm entry then appears in your sidebar.
- 2
Open My Firm
The My Firm entry lives in the sidebar on every dashboard page. Click it to open the firm area.
- 3
Create your firm
You do not belong to a firm yet, so this page shows a single card. Click "Create or Join a Firm" to open the claim wizard.
- 4
Confirm your bar registration
The wizard shows the bar association and colegiado number from your profile. Only registered lawyers can own a firm — check both values are right.
- 5
Continue
Everything correct? Click Continue to move on to the create-or-join choice.
- 6
Choose "Create a new firm"
You want to become a firm, so pick "Create a new firm". "Join an existing firm" is only for lawyers who received an invite code from an existing firm.
- 7
Search for the name first
Type your firm name. LeyApp checks the Spanish firm directory and firms already on the platform so you never create a duplicate. Type a name now, then click Next in this guide.
- 8
No match? Create it
If a matching firm appears and it is yours, click "Claim this firm" next to it. Otherwise click "Create new firm" to continue to the details form.
- 9
Fill in the details
Only the firm name is required. Description, city, phone, address, website and founding year are optional and editable later.
- 10
Create the firm
Clicking Continue creates the firm and makes you its owner immediately. This is the only step that writes anything — go ahead when you are ready.
- 11
You are the owner
Done — the firm exists and you own it. You can already invite colleagues, set branding and choose policies. Click Continue to start verification.
- 12
The verification tracker
Four items: CIF/NIF document, firm-domain email, bar association letter and the administrator review. Each one turns green as you complete it.
- 13
Upload your documents
Upload the CIF/NIF, send the domain verification email and attach the bar letter. Review takes up to 48 hours and unlocks the trusted badge, widgets and SSO.
- 14
That is the whole journey
Your lawyer profile is untouched; you simply own a firm now. Remember: one firm at a time — leave a firm before creating or joining another.
