# Inviting beneficiaries in bulk

Invite up to 100 beneficiaries to a sponsorship in one submit using paste or CSV.

## What bulk invite does

Bulk invite lets you send sponsorship invitations to many beneficiaries at once — up to 100 per submission. Each invitation creates an independent sponsorship record, so beneficiaries still consent individually and can choose their own permissions.

All invitations from one submission are grouped under a "cohort" so you can track progress, run bulk bookings later, and route payment together.

## How to use it

1. Open Dashboard → Sponsorships → "Invite in bulk".
2. Paste rows in the format "name, email" (one per line) or upload a CSV. Email-only also works — we derive a name from the address.
3. Apply shared settings (purpose, budget per beneficiary) and submit.

> **Tip**
> CSV header rows are auto-skipped. Both commas and tabs work as separators.

## Shared settings

Purpose, optional internal reference, budget per beneficiary, and legal-representation type all apply to every row in the submission. For per-row variation, send separate single invitations.

## Per-row results

Right after submitting you'll see a per-row table with one of three states:

- Invited — invitation email sent.
- Skipped — beneficiary already has an active sponsorship from you, or they declined less than 90 days ago.
- Failed — invalid email, or rate limit hit. Try again or fix the row.

> **Note**
> Bulk submissions are rate-limited to 3 per hour to protect your inbox reputation. Single invitations remain at 5 per hour.
