Navigating the family reunification process (Reagrupación Familiar) is a common hurdle. Here is how to succeed.

Relocating to Spain is exciting, but for many, it’s only a success if the whole family can come along. Navigating the family reunification process (Reagrupación Familiar) is one of the most common, yet stressful, legal hurdles. 

## Who Can You Bring?
Generally, you can sponsor:
- Your spouse or registered civil partner (Pareja de Hecho).
- Dependent children under 18.
- Dependent parents (ascendants) over 65 (hard to prove).

## The Golden Rule: You Must Wait a Year
Standard residents must legally reside in Spain for one year before they can apply to bring their family. (Exceptions apply for DNV and Golden Visa holders).

## Financial and Housing Requirements
You must prove you can support your family with a minimum monthly income and obtain a "Housing Suitability Report".
